I will keep making lists and here’s why
There’s a nifty little thing called Analytics and I can see what you’re up to when you come to feelingfunny.ca. Don’t worry. Not you, specifically, but I can tell what you are all clicking on, how long you spent there, what you clicked on next, where you live in general terms, what you had for dinner, and what you’re wearing. So I know that you click most often on the numbered, hand-tweaking-the-star feeling funny blogs, and that sometimes you don’t even click on the listy ones at all. So I guess you, too, want something pithy and dense, rather than frivolous and silly. But here’s why I’m going to keep right on making them.
Variety, baby
They’re quick and my attention span is that of a gnat sometimes
Because some things only need a few words, for instance, why is there a g in gnat
Also because of questions like Why did Billie Joe MacAllister jump off the Tallahatchie bridge?
I like lists
Two Feeling Funny blogs side by each look weird and they need an in-between
Because Marie won’t read paragraph-y things and she probably even skipped the intro to this list
Because I get ten chances to come up with something funny
Because I like sentences that start with because
Because getting to 10 is one of the best parts of my day
