Twister Hooves and Balloons (Oh My!)
I repeated those three words all the way back from our walk so I’d remember to talk about them and you might want to not click
I talk broken Celsius because they took Farenht (spellcheck’s down already) away when I was a kid just getting the hang of it and replaced it with Celsius which I never got the hang of so in broken Celcius it’s maybe 12 out there today which means you don’t need to even zipper up your vest and it also means everything is super fucking muddy like the trail we go on has snowbanks and foot printed ice sculptures as well as so much mud but unlike most days today I was dressed appropriately (one of my ny resolutions is/was to dress appropriately, the for-my-age kind, but when I googled it I was fucking horrified so maybe I will just try to wear more violet) but anyway I was in proper gumboots too tight but okay with little knee-high stocking instead of socks so you see I did pick up a few pointers there on google. I was thinking on the walk over that if it was really slippery Daisy might give me some stability you know she’s always not yanking but applying a certain amount of tension to the leash and she has unknowingly helped me up a steep hill or two so I decided to keep the leash on in case she could finally reciprocate the best friend thing so there we were going along and it was wicked but as I may have mentioned I was entirely prepared so I’m acting like a kid you know really traipsing through that mud and enjoying it too and just as I was considering letting her off the leash I needed her, it was as if somebody suddenly said LET’S PLAY TWISTER! my hands and feet felt like four hooves and I had to pee so you know another hoof to worry about and for the first time in all the walks Daisy and I have taken it felt like I was walking a balloon.
